Celebrate America's semiquincentennial (250th Birthday) at Historic Rock Ford! Our two-day celebration will offer various free, fun, and educational activities throughout the day, including:

Important “Know Before You Go” Information
Event time: 10 am-4 pm Most activities are at your own pace in any order throughout the day. Any scheduled events will be in the event program. You may come at any time between those hours. The event closes promptly at 4 pm.
Event Programs/Children’s Scavenger Hunts: Please stop by the Snyder Gallery Welcome Center located in the rear of the barn or the Information Tent in front of the 1794 Hand Mansion to pick up your event program, site map, and scavenger hunts. Additional scavenger hunt pickup locations include the children’s activities tent and inside the 1794 Hand Mansion.
Event Parking: Parking for the event is on-site at Historic Rock Ford. For handicap parking, please park in the paved lot by the white garage. For general parking, please drive up the main driveway and park in our event lot. Parking attendants will be present to help direct traffic and assist with parking. An overflow lot is reserved, if needed. Should that happen, you will be directed to that lot upon arrival at Rock Ford and then shuttled to the site.
Concessions: Concessions will be available on site for purchase. All proceeds will benefit Historic Rock Ford.
Restrooms: Restroom facilities, including ADA restrooms, will be available on site. Specific locations will be in the event program. Please note that the 1794 Hand Mansion does not have any restrooms that are accessible to the public.
