Historic Rock Ford's America250 Lecture Series presents "Walls That Witnessed a Revolution: Lancaster County Before 1776.” Danielle Keperling explores the pre-1776 buildings throughout Lancaster County.
This presentation will begin at 6 PM in the Langmuir Education Room located on the first floor of the Rock Ford Barn. Admission is for the lecture only and does not include the Snyder Gallery or Hand Mansion.
About the Presenter: Danielle Keperling has worked full-time in the historic preservation industry since 2001 and has brought more than two decades of professional experience to her work. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University and serves as the Executive Director of the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County, where she advances preservation advocacy, education, and stewardship across the county. Alongside her husband, Jonathan, Danielle operates Keperling Preservation Services, specializing in the restoration of 18th-, 19th- and early 20th-century buildings for both public and private clients, including the National Park Service and the Smithsonian Institution. Danielle is the co-author of two books, Preservation Primer: Avoid Common Mistakes that Cause Irreversible & Costly Damage to Your Historical Building’s Architectural Integrity and Daredevil Marketing: How Preservation-Based Contractors & Architects Can Get Better Projects, Clients, and Prices. In 2019, she launched the Practical Preservation podcast to share preservation knowledge with a broader audience. She also serves on the Lancaster City Historical Commission, helping oversee the Heritage Conservation District.
